On OS X 10.6 you could try the same approach as on 10.7. It seems to work on some installations. If not, you can enter the VPN configurations manually instead as follows.
In System Preferences select Network.
Click the + to add a new network.
Select the following:
VPN Type: either PPTP or L2TP over IPsec
Service Name: PandaPow
Enter the following.
Server Address: click here for a list of PPTP and L2TP server addresses
Account name: YOUR VPN USERNAME (if you don’t know it click here)
Also make sure the Show VPN Status in menu bar checkbox is checked.
Click Authentication Settings… and enter your VPN password
In case you selected L2TP connection, enter the Shared secret: HowEasy
Click Advanced. In the Options tab check Send all traffic over VPN
Click Apply to save the VPN.
Once connected you should see a black lock icon apear in the status bar, with a timer next to it showing the connection time. Click on this icon to disconnect, and also later to connect again.
If for some reason the connection fails, please let us know. To help us trouble-shoot the problem we need to see system log file. To send this, please proceed as follows:
- Open the Console application (found in Utilities in the Applications folder)
- Under Files in the left panel, click system.log .
- Click Clear to clear the old log, then try connecting to the VPN
- Wait until the connection stops then copy the log output and send to us

- Your PandaPow account id
